Excellent Vintage 1960s Maxi Taffeta - Sz M - MOVIE STAR Maxi Half Slip - USA

Classic Movie Star brand swishy taffeta maxi formal length slip with a deep side slit.
This is a knock-out of a slip that you will love for years to come.  The elastic is in excellent condition.  The fabric is crisp and swishy...just right for under a sheer formal maxi dress.  This is a beautifully made item with silky nylon inverted "V" inserts on either side at the waistline to add just a touch of give in the waist and stomach area.  The focal point of the slip is the 12" side slit that is trimmed in a delicate lace that continues all around the hemline!
This is a high quality piece of lingerie as you would expect from a fine maker like Movie Star when made in the U.S.A. was a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship.
Measurements are 20-36"
at the waist, up to 40" at the hip, and the length is 37" from the waist.  There is no give to this fabric except in the inverted "V" areas on either side of the waistline.  All measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch (waist was taken both ways).  The woven label says, "Size Medium - 100% Antron III Nylon - Exclusive of Decoration - Movie Star" on the front and "RN 15411 - Made in U.S.A." with washing instructions on the back.
