Here is an Amazingly Beautiful Vintage Black Full Slip, with an All Lace Bodice.
Lace has some stretch to emphasize shape and adjustable ribbon straps.
We believe it dates to the late 1970's or early 80's, perhaps even a bit earlier.
Not labeled as to size, but measures to approximately a vintage size 32 B, but because vintage clothing sizes often run smaller than those of today, please use the measurements provided below and compare with one of your own comfortably fitting, similar garments to ensure a proper fit.
Slip Measurements:
(made with the garment lying flat)
16" across at the underarm seams. (32" bust max)
13" side seam to side seam at the waist. (26" waist max)
18" side seam to side seam at the widest part of the hips. (36" hip circumference max)
33" from underarm seam to hem.
56" in circumference at the lace trimmed hem.
On close inspection, we found the item to be in excellent vintage condition.
A factory miss on one layer of the tulle seam on the back. (see last photo)
This is hardly noticed when the garment is worn.
No other significant issues noted.
