Lot of TWO beautiful Gossard Artemis slips; size 36; purple and rose red

Description

For auction is a lot of 2 beautiful Gossard Artemis slips.
Both are size 36, both are style 8088, one of Gossard Artemis’s most popular styles from the 1960s.
Both have been hand-washed and air dried in a smoke-free environment.
This style of slip has a ¾ to 1 inch floral scalloped lace hem, 1 inch floral scalloped lace around the backs and sides.
The bust is divided between lace floral applique over sheer bra cups and a satin panel on the lower part of the cup. The satin panels on the bust of both slips are lighter than the nylon, but that is the way they are supposed to be.
It makes for a nice two-tone bust. The straps are satin with adjustable metal slides.
All are 100% nylon.
In this lot are:
1 purple, size 36 average, 31 inches from underarm to hem, 18” across the bust
1 rose red, size 36 short, 27 inches from underarm to hem, 18” across the bust
The rose slip has some slight discoloration around the front mid-section.
I tried to photograph it, but it may not show up.
It looks like some streaks that are slightly darker than the color of the slip.
Also, both of these slips have some slight tearing of the lace under the armpit.
On the purple slip the tearing is a little more than ¼ inch on one side. On the rose slip the tearing is 1 inch on one side and ½ inch on the other side.
These can easily be stitched up and repaired.  Considering their age, they are in very good shape.
These slips are extremely attractive garments and will be a great addition to your lingerie collection.
