I pulled this slip out of a bag and my mouth watered and I could barely breathe!
The color of plumb is mouth watering, and the silk sheen makes you think of your most adored dessert.
I placed this slip under all of my other slips and gowns so I could ponder keeping it.
It took a month or two to decide to sell it.
This slip is dry clean or hand wash.
This slip begins with ½’’ wide adjustable silk straps.
The front bodice has 2 ½’’ wide black floral lace which travels along top of the chemise from side to side.
A appliqué begins at the center bust and flows to each upper center bosom.
The bust is gathered to a front waist insert.
The back of the bodice has 1’’wide black floral lace.
The skirt is lightly gathered to the slips front insert and ends with 2 ½’’ wide floral lace.
Measurements:
Underarm: 40’’
Bust: 42’’
Shoulder to hem: Adjustable
Flaws found:
There are stains on the side of the slip that is in a 4 ½’’ long by 1’’ wide area.
It is not visible during wear.
I did not put tons of effort in removing the stain, it may or may not wash out over time.
I placed Dryell stain remover before dry cleaning in the dryer and it had little effect.
