White Tulip Lace Embellished Side Slit 1960s Vintage Half Slip - Sz Small

Pretty 1960s vintage white half slip with darling tulip lace trimming the hemline and 11" open side slit.  This is such a charming piece of fashion history! The elastic is in excellent condition.  The fabric is soft and supple to the touch.  The focal point of the slip is the open side slit with the tulip lace.  This is an exceptional slip that will be your go-to under your sheer skirts or dresses.  This is a beautifully made item as you would expect from a fine maker when most of these items were made in the U.S.A. and that was a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship.
Measurements are 22-38" at the waist, up to 38" at the hip, and the length is 27" from the waist.  There is lots of give to this fabric and all measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch (waist was taken both ways).  There is no surviving label but this can be machine washed on gentle in cold water and hung to dry as with all fine lingerie.
I only sell quality merchandise and I always disclose flaws.  This slip is in excellent vintage condition with no visible flaws except for minor pitting due to age.
